ABOUT ME
I teach meditation. What might surprise you is how I teach it — and how easily it can be woven into any lifestyle, no matter how busy.
My journey with meditation began as a martial arts student around four decades ago, followed by many years exploring physical movement in practices such as yoga and Pilates. Over the last decade, I have been teaching meditation privately and in organisational and gym settings, with the latter often weaving meditation together with Pilates practice.
Late last year, I completed a year long Meditation Teacher Program with Tergar International — a not-for-profit organisation rooted in an ancient Tibetan meditation lineage. I am now a Tergar Certified AAM Teacher (TCAAMT), licensed to teach across Australia and the world.
My approach is entirely secular. I use straightforward language and explain concepts as simply as possible — I am very comfortable working with people who are completely new to meditation.
What I find most meaningful about this work is the understanding that our true nature is already whole and complete. There is nothing broken that needs fixing. Through meditation we are not trying to become someone different — we are learning to recognise what is already there, and to rest in it. This shift in perspective quietly transforms how you experience your life and relate to others.
WHO I WORK WITH
Alongside individual and group sessions, I work with elite sporting groups, community organisations, government bodies and corporate settings, schools and wellness centres — tailoring each session to the people in the room.
